Mohammed Zafarullah Khan

(1893 - 1985)

He was a statesman and a Diplomat. He was the member of the Punjab Legislative Council from 1926-35; and President of All India Muslim from 1931-32. In 1939 he acted as the leader of the Indian delegation of the League Of Nations. He led Pakistan delegation to the United Nation from 1947 - 54. He was the member of the International Court Of Justice from 1954 - 61 and again became Pakistan’s representative at the U.N.O. from 1961 - 62 and served as the President of the General Assembly from 1962 - 63. He once more joined the International Court Of Justice in 1964 and became its President in 1970.
